In 2005 Chumbinho handed over the reigns of the Central Coast branch to be able to move on to another challenge. </p><p> That challenge came in the form of relocating to Hong Kong in May 2005 specifically to start teaching Capoeira there and experiment if this artform and culture from Brazil would fit into and be accepted by a culture that already has its own long history and roots in its own style of martial arts of Kung Fu. </p><p> Since then Chumbinho and his team have been able to bring Capoeira into the lives of thousands of Hong Kong people persoanlly through workshops, performance and demonstrations and have also been able to demonstrate Capoeira to the millions of people through means of media such as television, newspapers and magazines. </p><p> Professor Chumbinho has also been involved in workshops, grading events, performance and demonstration in many major cities of China, Taiwan, Macao, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. </p><p> <center> <hr width="80%" color="ff2222"> </center> <blockquote> <big> Graduado Rasta </big> </blockquote> </p><p> Graduado (Blue Cord) of Capoeira since August 2010, Rasta graduated in Hong Kong under the supervision of Mestre Peixe Ensaboado and Mestre Boneco a founder of Group Capoeira Brazil. <br /> Rasta has traveled extensivly over the world for study and exchange including living in Brazil for one year on school exchange where he started training Capoeira as well learn to speak the Portuguese language. <br /> After a trip to Europe in 2007 where he encountered many Capoeira groups Rasta decided to dedicate himself to presenting and spreading Capoeira to popele all over Hong Kong and China. <br /> Graduado Rasta is now taking on the challenge of teaching his own classes to beginners in areas of Hong Kong such as Wan Chai and Kwun Tong. </p><p> <center> <hr width="80%" color="ff2222"> </center> <blockquote> <big> Graduado Sem Parar </big> </blockquote> </p><p> Graduado (Blue Cord) of Capoeira since August 2010, Rasta graduated in Hong Kong under the supervision of Mestre Peixe Ensaboado and Mestre Boneco a founder of Group Capoeira Brazil. <br /> Having started his Capoeira training in Adalaid Australia Sem Parar arrived in Hong Kong ready to continue trainnig in conjunction with building his carere in acting and dance. <br /> Graduado Sem Parar is also one of the founding members of the first Tricking academy in Hong Kong and continues to train Capoeira as well as other martial arts to help compliment and improve his Tricking skills. </p><p> <center> <hr width="80%" color="ff2222"> </center> <blockquote> <big> Monitora Boa Gente </big> </blockquote> </p><p> Graduated Monitor level (blue/red cord) in 2009 under the supervision of Mestre Peixe Ensaboado and Formado Morcego in Hong Kong. <br /> Boa Gente was one of the first students of GCBHK and assisted a great deal in the development and promotion of Capoeira in the early years whilst Capoeira was still something quite unknown to Hong Kong people. <br /> Monitora Boa Gente also traveled many times to Sydney Australia to train in Mestre Peixe Ensaboados academy there to further improve her Capoeira and also making many friends abroad. </p><p> <center> <hr width="80%" color="ff2222"> </center> <blockquote> <big> Monitor Mask </big> </blockquote> </p><p> Graduated Monitor level (blue/red cord) in August 2010 in Hong Kong under the supervision of Mestre Peixe Ensaboado and Mestre Boneco, one of the founders of Group Capoeira Brazil. <br /> Monitor Mask has traveled extensvly together with Professor Chumbinho to help spread Capoeira.
